This listing is for a digital download of a PDF file that includes a full size pattern and instructions. The pattern is formatted to be printed on 8.5x11" paper.

Suitable for those with some sewing experience. The sewing is straightforward, but requires the knowledge of installing zippers and seam sealing.

DESCRIPTION:

The Stitchback Mini Zip Pannier is a small, minimalist pannier, that can be used as an alternative to a seat bag on bikes that have a rear rack. It features a single compartment that is accessed by a zippered opening. The pattern also includes an optional inner dry bag designed to fit nicely inside the pannier. This dry bag is designed with minimal seams in order to be easier to seam seal.

The pannier attaches to the bike rack by way of two Velcro straps which wrap the top bar of the rack. This design is compatible with most racks. (Some adjustment may be needed to fit your particular rack.) The pannier utilizes a plastic stiffener in the back of the bag and foam stiffener in the bottom, to help control the load while riding. Loops on the front of the pannier allow a bungee lashing system to be added if desired.
